The University of Iowa football team had to pause its football game late in the first half Saturday as Northwestern students took to the field to protest.

With less than one minute remaining before halftime, about a half dozen or so students made it to the field.

As you can see, it appears one of the banners says “Abolish NUPD. Invest in black lives.”

Security did not appear to be in any hurry to remove the students from the field. Here is some of the reaction from the Twitter universe.
