Follow up post regarding what to do if your medical or religious exemption is denied.

If your exemption is denied or you are not offered an exemption:

  1. Ask what the steps are to appeal the decision. If no appeal has been stated, see step 2.

  2. File a civil rights complaint at https://icrc.iowa.gov/file-complaint and include any and all documentation (ie. Their documented form requests, any communications, a copy of your form, etc.).

  3. Contact your state legislators and the governor via email or phone call, AND log your violation with iafreedomviolations.com. (These are being tracked and delivered to leadership at the Statehouse.)

  4. Seek out an attorney for litigation. Check out iafreedomviolations.com for suggested legal counsel.

  5. We are also gathering data in a coordinated effort with Stand for Health Freedom to assist the Civil Rights Commission and certain legislators through the following survey. Note: you DO NOT have to opt in to receive future messaging but if you want to stay informed of these fast-moving issues or relevant legislation, please opt in. https://standforhealthfreedom.com/action/iowa-vaccine-discrimination-survey

  6. File a charge against your employer with the EEOC, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, at https://www.eeoc.gov/filing-charge-discrimination.

  7. To report a business who has discriminated against you or denied accommodating your exemption please report them to the Iowa Economic Authority at https://www.iowaeda.com

Please reach out if you have any additional questions and please have patience with us if our response is delayed. We are a volunteer organization and are getting slammed with messages, questions, and inquiries every day.

Stay bold and stand strong! Make your voice heard because unless we take a stand together these mandates will not stop!

CALL TO ACTION:

It is clear mandates will be spreading across various sectors of employment as we anticipated. We are now at a crossroads in our state and nation in whether we will defend human and civil rights or whether we will cower to corporations and the government. This week we MUST take a stand and make our voices heard.

CALL or email your personal state legislators and the Governors office and ask them what they are going to do to stop the mandates from happening and the workforce shortage that will occur if they are allowed to continue? If they want a thriving economy they must have a workforce.

By allowing organizations and corporations to coerce an irreversible medical procedure (and for the time being) an experimental product as a condition of employment, the majority of the legislature and Governor Kim Reynolds are acting with passive cooperation in support of these mandates. By doing nothing to provide protection the legislature and Gov. Reynolds will need to accept all consequences of the lives and livelihoods lost.

As it is clear, there is a coordinated attempt to rob individuals of their bodily autonomy. NOW is the time to act and protect civil and human rights! They must be upheld during this pandemic when it seems the norm from our government leaders has consisted of overreaction and intentional segregation of our nation and state. With our independent regulatory agencies being primarily funded by the pharmaceutical industry, we can no longer trust them as an unbiased source who are acting in the best interest of, “We the People.”

Legislative action must be taken to protect lives and livelihoods of our citizens. Our economy and infrastructure won’t survive mediocre or incremental solutions. Legislators must get off the fence. If we do not have elected officials willing to provide comprehensive solutions then it is time for them to resign or face a primary challenge to get them out. We must be the catalyst to reclaim freedoms to our state and our country. Liberty is worth it!

TALKING POINTS:

-Educate them on why a one size fits all product and health solutions don’t work as it does NOT affect everyone in the same way (ie. new black box warnings are put on some of the vaccines for myocarditis/pericarditis, blood clots, bells palsey, and Guillan barre’)

-Send them the updated vaers numbers -Tell them you would rather be fired from your job than take this vaccine.

-Tell them how you or a family member has been affected by the vaccines.

WHO: Call, or if you are on minimal time email is ok but not preferred, at minimum your own state legislators and the Governor. https://www.legis.iowa.gov/legislators/find Governor Reynolds: 515-281-5211 option 5

Or email all legislators at: [email protected]
