It is a new low for the “progressives” in the Iowa Democrat Party. The Iowa Senate Democrats are rallying around the distribution of literature to Iowa school students that contain pedophilia, promote incestuous relationships and include graphic pictures of sexual content.

The Iowa Senate Democrats spent Friday on social media criticized Republican Sen. Jake Chapman for his efforts to stand up for sanity. Chapman spoke at a material review meeting in Johnston against a book called “The Absolutely True Diary of a PartTime Indian.”

Here are some excerpts from the book:

I spend hours in the bathroom with a magazine that has one thousand pictures of naked movie stars:

Naked woman + right hand = happy happy joy joy.

Yep, that’s right, I admit that I masturbate. I’m proud of it. I’m good at it. I’m ambidextrous. If there were a Professional Masturbators League, I’d get drafted number one and make millions of dollars.

And maybe you’re thinking, ‘Well, you really shouldn’t be talking about masturbation in public.’

Well, tough, I’m going to talk about it because EVERYBODY does it. And EVERYBODY likes it. And if God hadn’t wanted us to masturbate, then God wouldn’t have given us thumbs. So I thank God for my thumbs.

Not to mention this joke that is in the book:

“Hey, Chief,” Roger said. “You want to hear a joke?”

“Sure,” I said.

“Did you know that Indians are living proof that niggers fuck buffalo?”

REMINDER: Democrats are defending this piece of literature.

There’s more, but how much more is necessary?

“Republican Senate President Jake Chapman is an extremist who is wildly out of touch with his constituents,” the Iowa Senate Democrats said on Twitter. “He’s employing the Republican playbook of rage and distraction. He wants to hide the fact that he’s every bit as extreme as folks like Steve King and Marjorie Taylor Greene.

“Threatening to jial teachers won’t fix Iowa’s teacher shortage Jake Chapman. This extremist behavior only hurts the parents, children and educators in your district.

“Don’t let Jake Chapman drag you into his culture war distraction. Here’s the truth: Jake Chapman has no plan to improve the quality of education in Iowa. He’s actively hurting the parents, students and educators in his district with his extremism. Parents deserve better.

“Every Iowa parent deserves a quality, public school. Republicans want to distract you from the fact they are slowly defunding our public schools, eroding the quality of our public education in Iowa. The Republican agenda is anti-parent, anti-student, anti-education.”

OK. We’ll do a little more from the book being defended by Iowa Senate Democrats:

“Don’t touch me, you retarded fag!” he yelled…

“We’ll kick your asses next year,” Rowdy wrote back. “And you’ll cry like the little faggot you are.”

“I might be a faggot,” I wrote back, “but I’m the faggot who beat you.”

And the book is likely in violation of state law:

“Who has the most hope?” I asked…

“Come on,” I said. “Who has the most hope?”

“White people,” my parents said at the same time.

On Thursday evening, Chapman posted to Facebook about teachers in the Johnston School District who are defending the distribution of what he believes to be obscene material and what he believes to be in violation of state law.

“These are also our so-called ‘mandatory reporters,'” he wrote. “Our schools should be one of the safest environments. It’s for that reason I have legislation being drafted to create a new felony offense under Iowa Code 728. There will also be additional mechanisms to force prosecutions or allow civil remedies. #ReadyForSessionToBegin #ProtectOurKids #ItsACrime.”

Chapman has been at the forefront of speaking out against other books under scrutiny throughout school libraries in Iowa such as “Gender Queer,” “All Boys Aren’t Blue” and “Lawn Boy.”

If Democrats really want to go down defending filth in Iowa school libraries, that’s their deal. But if they really believe that Iowa moms and dads support this garbage in taxpayer-funded libraries, they’ll continue to lose support of parents. It will be one indication that they aren’t just out of touch, but possibly insane.
