Rick Klein, ABC News Political Director, put out a call for the “cleansing” of President Donald J. Trump’s supporters on Twitter.

On the morning of Jan. 7, Klein took to Twitter to note that Trump would be an “ex-president” in 13 days.

“The fact is that getting rid of Trump is the easy part,” he wrote. “Cleansing the movement he commands is going to be something else.”

Those calls for unity didn’t last long, did they?
