The Waukee Public Library is hosting an “all ages Pride Fashion Show” on Saturday, Oct. 15 at 10 a.m. The event is part of “celebrating” LGBTQ+ History Month.

“Wear your fancy pants, skirts or any favorite clothes, and get ready to stroll down the red carpet,” the description of the event states.

Volunteers from local “Gay & Straight Alliance” groups will be there to assist participants with makeup, decorating masks or other outfit accessories.

When everyone is ready, the group will promenade and then enjoy rainbow treats and a short dance party.

The Waukee Public Library is requiring registration, but the event is free.

The LGBTQ movement has increased its targeting of kids in the last couple of years. This appears to be yet another event aimed at young children to normalize the movement.
