On Tuesday, The Iowa Standard reported about Lori Lovstad’s tweet that publicly ridiculed a concerned citizen who emailed Lovstad.
Lovstad is the President of the Ankeny School Board. She published the following tweet:
But Ankeny parents are saying there is more to the story.
Two teachers in the district along with one counselor liked Lovstad’s tweet as one parent said it shows the “bullying culture” that Lovstad is creating.

Lovstad kept her Twitter account public for nearly 24 hours after the tweet was reported to the Ankeny superintendent.
Many Ankeny parents are expressing frustration and demanding a reprimand for Lovstad.
