AOC ignores the science, says women of other faiths have right to exercise those faiths by…having an abortion?

Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio Cortez appeared in a video defending abortion and missed the mark when it comes to the argument regarding when life begins.

AOC focused on a faith argument while ignoring the scientific facts.

“For people who say, oh but you’re, you know, you’re, you’re harming a life, ‘I believe this sis life.’ Well some religions don’t, so how about that?” she said. “Our Jewish brothers and sisters, they are able to have an abortion according to their faith. You know, there are so many faiths that do not have the same definition of life as fundamentalist Christians. And so what about their rights? What about their right to exercise their faith? It’s ridiculous and it is theocratic. It’s authoritarian. It is wrong.”

It is no surprise someone like AOC would ignore the science behind when life begins — it doesn’t side with her. But it is strange she would claim some religions compel women to have abortions. As if it an abortion is some sort of sacrament or it is some sort of necessary rite of passage in some religion.

Or, perhaps it is an admission of the importance of abortion among the secular Left. Perhaps abortion is sacred to the Democrat Party. Perhaps it is a sacrament for them.

  1. Duplicity does not make right wrong. The evil of the Democrat Party is so deep a spirit of disillusionment has been released over them by God Himself. Repentance is the only way back. When one argues with God’s Truth, He always wins that argument. And the consequences are everlasting. Hebrews 10:29.
