With the 2022 midterms just about completed, the next races to watch will be those for GOP leadership in the House.

This week, American Principles Project (APP) has announced its support for two Republican members in those races. Yesterday, APP officially endorsed Rep. Jim Banks (R-Ind.) to take over as the next House GOP Whip. As APP President Terry Schilling explained to The Daily Signal:

“We need Republican leaders who support strong families and who are willing to fight back against the Left more than ever before. … [Banks is a] reliable conservative who has gone to great lengths to grow our party and appeal to working-class families, all while countering the excesses of the woke Left.”

Today, APP also endorsed Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) to retain her position as House GOP Conference Chair. Speaking to Breitbart News, Schilling praised the congresswoman’s record:

“Stefanik has helped push the party in the right direction on cultural issues, and she has emboldened conservatives by holding left-wing politicians accountable for their woke extremism.”
