U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the El Centro Sector arrested an undocumented individual convicted of murder.
Agents assigned to the Calexico station encountered two undocumented individuals who illegally entered between the ports of entry. The individuals were placed under arrest and transported to El Centro Sector Processing Center to be further medically evaluated and processed.
Record checks revealed that one of the individuals had been previously convicted of murder. This individual has multiple re-entries after deportation and previously ordered to be removed from the U.S. by an immigration judge.
U.S. Border Patrol will process all individuals accordingly.
