Several Texas counties issued a declaration this week declaring “an invasion at the Southern Border.”
County officials said they were doing so because their communities are “under siege.”
Uvalde Mayor Don McLaughlin said local law enforcement needed to step in because the federal government wasn’t going to do anything about it.
