Joe Biden took to Twitter on Sunday as he announced his administration will base economic aid for businesses partially based on race and gender.

“Our priority will be black, Latino, Asian and Native American owned small businesses, women-owned businesses and finally having equal access to resources needed to reopen and rebuild,” Biden said.

Pointing to the recent jobs report, Biden said restaurants, bars and the hospitality industries have “been slammed by the virus.”

“We’re going to direct to those businesses and others that have been so badly hit — hit the hardest,” Biden said.

The idea of basing economic relief on gender seems strange for a political party and politician who believe gender is fluid.
