Today, 71 County Sherriffs, Democrats and Republicans, across the state of Iowa have endorsed prosecutor Brenna Bird for Iowa Attorney General over her opponent Tom Miller. A full list of endorsements can be found below.

“Tom Miller has failed law enforcement in Iowa,” Bird said. “As I’ve traveled around the state, I’ve consistently heard from sheriffs that they have never even met Tom Miller – even those who have been in office for many years. That is a disgrace.”

Brenna Bird is the Republican candidate for Iowa Attorney General. As the elected County Attorney for Guthrie County since 2018, Brenna has helped keep Iowa families safe by getting criminals off the street, advocating for victims of crime, and standing up for law enforcement. If elected, she will be a staunch defender of the rule of law and Constitution. To learn more about Brenna Bird’s campaign visit, birdforiowa.com.

“It’s time for an Attorney General who will work law enforcement to keep Iowans safe. That’s why top law enforcement officials in both parties are getting behind our campaign,” Bird continued. “I am grateful to have their support, and I am proud of what Iowa law enforcement does every single day to keep us safe. They are heroes.  Iowans deserve an Attorney General who will work for them.”
