On Monday, Attorney General Brenna Bird’s campaign announced its placement of a General Election broadcast advertising reserve totaling over $2,200,000 starting on September 30th through Election Day. Earlier this year, Brenna Bird announced record-shattering fundraising numbers for an incumbent Iowa Attorney General. With open races for Governor and US Senate, this will be one of the most competitive fall elections Iowa has seen in years.
“Our work in the Attorney General’s Office has never been more important,” Brenna Bird said. “Every day, our team is working to Back the Blue, get justice for victims through the work of our cold case unit, uphold our laws and Constitution, protect seniors from scams and kids from online harm. We can’t hand the office over to a radical progressive who would undo this important work. I’m grateful to serve as Iowa’s Attorney General. Between now and November, I’ll be working to share our record of success and once again earn the support of my fellow Iowans.”
Today, Brenna Bird’s campaign will place the following advertising blocks around the state.
Market Amount
Des Moines $825,000
Cedar Rapids $495,000
Davenport $577,500
Sioux City $357,500
“Thanks to so many committed supporters who have given generously to our campaign, we’re in a position to reserve airtime now – earlier than any other candidate for office in Iowa,” said Campaign Manager Andy Swanson. “By being first out of the gate, we’ll ensure our message is seen and heard by every target voter this fall.”
