During a joint enforcement action, U.S. Border Patrol, Laredo Police Department (LPD), and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) apprehended several illegal aliens in Laredo, Texas.

On August 27, the Laredo Sector Border Patrol received a report from LPD of illegal aliens being harbored at a house in south Laredo, Texas.  Agents conducted surveillance on the suspected stash house and observed suspicious activity including multiple vehicles arriving and leaving the residence.   A joint enforcement action led to the arrest of two United States citizens and 14 illegal aliens.

The illegal aliens were all Mexican nationals.  All of the individuals were found in good health and were processed accordingly.

The case was turned over to Homeland Security Investigations.
