According to reports, an order from Justice Samuel Alito has mandated that all ballots received after 8 p.m. on election day be segregated and secured. And if all such ballots are counted, they must be counted separately.
There is a petition on merits still pending before the Supreme Court. Alito has ordered the opposing side to file a response by 2 p.m. on Saturday.
