Matthew Bruce, the leader of Des Moines Black Lives Matter, was arrested again, this time in Iowa City.

Bruce was charged with nine counts of assault on peace officers with intent of injury. It’s a class D felony. Bruce also faces a charge of interference with official acts.

According to the Iowa City Press-Citizen, officers said Bruce shined a laser beam light into their eyes in a pair of separate incidents.

It is the fourth time Bruce has been since June.
