Fox News star Tucker Carlson addressed America Fest 2021 on Saturday. Carlson said two years ago, everything in the “real world” completely changed and nobody in the world he lives in noticed.

He said his show is an unending litany of how horrible things are and, more precisely, how horrible the people running things are.

But, he thinks this has to be the low point, after which we will have the rise where things improve.

“When something is completely insane and counterproductive. When it doesn’t even benefit the people pushing it, it probably can’t continue,” Carlson said. “The things that are going on now are so crazy and they’re so disconnected…things are happening right now that can’t be explained by the normal explanation. There’s absolutely no rational explanation for it.

“People are saying, ‘let’s get rid of cops because I know that’s going to make things better.’ There’s not one person who upon 15 seconds of reflection thinks that’s going to help anyone. Not one person. So, why would you say that?”

Carlson said the only reason to say that is to destroy things. Ultimately, Carlson said people are wrecking stuff for the sake of wrecking stuff. Even their own stuff.

“So, what is that,” he asked. “There’s nothing in politics, there’s nothing within reason, nothing within our recent human experience that can explain that. So, if you’re a rational person – you don’t even need to be a religious person – you have to conclude there is something unseen here. Like, there is a spiritual dementia to this. I’m sorry, there just is. I don’t care. I don’t see how any rational person couldn’t conclude that.”
