A seventh-grade teacher at Carroll Middle School who was displaying their LGBTQ political leanings in their classroom voluntarily removed the items from their classroom.

A book called “The Meaning of Pride” had been displayed on a bookshelf prominently.

Within a couple of pages, the book lists all kinds of sexualities — including bisexual, asexual and pansexual. Pride festivals are glorified as well. The book states:

“Pride means wearing whatever you want. It means if it makes you feel good, it’s fierce.”

The book also promotes transgenderism.

The teacher also had pride flags behind their desk inside the classroom.

Carroll Superintendent Casey Berlau said the district was made aware of the issue prior to school beginning and the issue was addressed “immediately.”

“We worked in cooperation with the teacher and the teacher voluntarily removed the items,” Berlau said.
