Southview Middle School in Ankeny announced Kevin Biggs as its new principal, pending board approval. Biggs is currently the Coordinator of K-5 Virtual Learning for Des Moines Public Schools. He served as principal of Roosevelt High School in Des Moines for eight years.

The Ankeny Community School District has been in the news the last week due to an “unauthorized” drag show that took place at the high school. You can read more about that here.

Biggs, for his part, seems to slant pretty hard toward the political Left as well. Though, if we’re to believe this, he tries to remain “neutral on all things politics.”

Sometimes, though, it seems he cannot help it. For example, Biggs wrote:

“My wondering: if you vote for someone who is a known racist, does that make you one too?”

Considering the timing of the tweet, it isn’t too difficult to speculate on which “someone” Biggs was referring to.

And if it was difficult to speculate, perhaps this would clear it up? Biggs retweeted this message:

“Racist kids become racist adults. I’m certain Trump never took a real history course. States need to adopt anti-racist curricula. Education may not mitigate the influence of bigoted parents, but give the kid an ‘F’ for thinking the Civil War was all about states’ rights.”

Biggs also seemed to take great pride when the Roosevelt baseball team all took a knee during the National Anthem.

And, the LGBTQ agenda seems to have a definite ally with Biggs.
