Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar is a refugee to our shores. The U.S. took Omar in at age 12, giving her a life that people in her native Somalia—a dusty and impoverished outpost of anarchy and cruel warlords—can only dream about.

But instead of offering profound gratitude to the U.S. for rescuing her and her family, Omar slanders her adopted home as a place of oppression… and is now openly calling for Marxist revolution!

The Minnesota representative took an oath (using a Koran) to “support and defend the Constitution” and to “bear true faith and allegiance to the same.” Yet standing outside the U.S. Capitol building this month, she unleashed an angry, biting, and inflammatory indictment of America. And she called for revolution . . .
“We are not merely fighting to tear down the systems of oppression in the criminal justice system. We are fighting to tear down systems of oppression that exist in housing, in education, in healthcare, in employment, in the air we breathe.

“We cannot stop at the criminal justice system. We must begin the work of dismantling the whole system of oppression wherever we find it.”

You and I cannot ignore Omar’s blistering and fiery words! At a time when social strife is soaring and cities are under siege, it would be utterly foolhardy for us to allow a member of Congress to defame America and foment revolution!

Her outrageous statements amount to sedition.

This is not the first time Omar has tossed a verbal grenade into American life. Last year, she outraged millions of Americans by callously stating, “some people did something” on 9/11—a flippant, off-hand reference to the single, deadliest terror attack in U.S. history. Much more than “something,” as Omar dismissed it, the savage 9/11 assault killed some 3,000 people in mere hours.

And it wasn’t just “some people” who carried out the savage 9/11 massacre. It was radical Islamic terrorists. Killers who proclaimed Islam’s supremacy—shouting “Allahu Akbar” (Allah is greatest)—as they slammed passenger jets into New York’s twin towers, the Pentagon and a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

Omar is a proud member in good standing of the “blame America first” crowd. After brutal al Shabaab terrorists tortured and killed some 70 people in a horrific 2013 Kenyan shopping mall attack, Omar pointed the finger at America. The vicious terror group committed horrific atrocities. It dismembered hostages, gouged out eyes, castrated men and hung victims from the ceiling.

But that unspeakable carnage, Omar said, was a “byproduct . . . of our involvement in other people’s affairs.” In other words, she said America was at fault!

And if you want to know what Omar really thinks about America, consider this specious charge she tweeted out in 2016: “We must confront that our nation was founded by genocide and we maintain global power through neocolonialism.”

Now she’s calling for revolution—inciting fellow radicals to “tear down” and dismantle “the whole system of oppression.” Hirsi Ali, a Somali-born human-rights activist, asked the obvious question:
“Why flee from Mogadishu, why flee from anarchy, why flee from oppression — and then come to the United States and do all your best to turn Minnesota and the U.S. into Mogadishu?”

Join me now in demanding that the House act swiftly to Condemn Rep. Ilhan Omar’s Vicious Attack on America!
