Much has been said and written about the first presidential debate last Tuesday between President Trump and Joe Biden.  But much of it may be mistaken.

All agree that both men interrupted each other, and that the President did so more often.  In fact, Democrats are demanding a “kill switch” during dedicated answer time in the next encounter.

But, why did President Trump take such an aggressive stance right at the outset, keeping it up during the entire event, and even scuffling with moderator Chris Wallace?

Why did Mr. Wallace join Mr. Biden in badgering Mr. Trump, insisting that he denounce “white supremacists?”

Why didn’t Mr. Wallace ask Joe Biden to denounce Black Lives Matter and Antifa?

Whom did this debate help? Mr. Trump or Mr. Biden?

What does this bode for the next one?

Jerome Corsi is co-author, with Bishop E. W. Jackson, Sr. of the “Little Red Book of Democrat Socialist Lies” (2020).

Jerome R. Corsi, Ph.D., worked for 12 years as a Senior Staff Reporter for WND.com, previously World Net Daily, from 2004 through January 2017.

Since 2004, Dr. Corsi has published more than 20 books, six of which were New York Times Best Sellers. Two of his books reached the top of the list, ranking No. 1 on the New York Times non-fiction book list: “Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry,” co-authored in 2004 with John O’Neill, and “The Obama Nation: Leftist Politics and the Cult of Personality” in 2008. In 2019, he published “Dr. Corsi Investigates:  Why the Democratic Party Has Gone Communist.”

In 1968, Dr. Corsi received a Bachelor of Arts degree, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Case Western Reserve University, in Cleveland, Ohio, where he majored in political science and economics. In 1972, he received a Ph.D. in Political Science from Harvard University.

Dr. Jerome Corsi came under enormous pressure to lie during Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russian collusion inquiry, but he refused and was cleared.

He then filed his own lawsuit. On January 22, 2019, Larry Klayman, counsel for Dr. Corsi, announced an Amended Complaint on his client’s behalf against Special Counsel Robert Mueller, the Department of Justice and the FBI, intelligence agencies, Washington Post owner and CEO Jeff Bezos and Post reporter Manuel Roig-Franzia.

The suit alleges that they “have acted and continue to act in concert to coerce, extort and blackmail Dr. Corsi into providing false testimony under oath to the Special Counsel with the design to indict and/or remove President Donald J. Trump from his duly elected office,” according to Dr. Corsi’s website, corsination.com.

The Amended Complaint alleges unlawful violations of the Fourth Amendment, the USA Freedom Act, the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, grand jury secrecy laws under the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure, as well as tortious interference with business relations and defamation.
