Congressman Randy Feenstra voted against the so-called Equality Act on Thursday.

Feenstra posted his thoughts on social media:

“I just voted no on House Democrats’ efforts to pass the so-called Equality Act. I believe every human is a child of God who should be treated with dignity and respect. However, this misguided provision pushed by Speaker Pelosi and her allies would infringe on the religious liberties of Americans, create dangerous new standards for small businesses and healthcare providers, and create even more harm to women’s sports. Congress should be focused on providing true relief to American families right now. Further pushing an extreme, progressive agenda that further divides us is wrong.”
