Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has introduced H.R.2317. The proposed legislation is titled “We Will Not Comply Act.”

“Every member who says they are against vaccine passports should cosponsor my bill,” Taylor Greene said. “To provide that the United States citizens may not be discriminated against based on their COVID-19 vaccination status, and for other purposes.”

The bill prohibits federal funds from being used to require any person to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. It also prohibits federal funds from being made available to any elementary school, secondary school or institution of higher learning if such school or institution requires an individual to receive a COVID vaccine as condition for attendance or participation in extra-curricular activity.

The bill also states someone who has been discriminated against on the basis of their COVID vaccine status, or fails to comply with a requirement to wear a face covering, may bring an action in the appropriate U.S. district court seeking damages.
