Dallas County Attorney Charles Sinnard said he spoke with Waukee officers and asked them to conduct some additional investigation regarding a few books at Waukee Northwest High School.

The books have come under fire since they were discovered. You can hear one of the concerned parents read from one of the books at a board meeting here.

“I looked at the facts and evidence they had gathered and reviewed the obscenity law,” Sinnard said. “A determination was made that criminal charges are not supported.”
