How rich is it to see Washington D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser complaining about illegal immigrants traveling to the nation’s capital from border states that are receiving little if any help and attention from the federal government?
Bowser said the illegal immigrants are being “tricked” into getting on buses headed for D.C. She expressed concern over the drain their presence is on the city.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has reportedly sent multiple busloads of illegal immigrants out of the state to protest the inaction on the border of President Joe Biden’s administration.
Bowser said the issue is “very significant” and D.C. has called on the federal government to “work across state lines” to prevent people from being tricked into getting on buses. Bowser added the final destinations for these immigrants is not Washington D.C.
