Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds released her final commercial of the 2022 campaign. The ad is titled “The Best is Yet to Come.” It is a 60-second ad that features Gov. Reynolds highlighting Iowa’s “common sense” story.

Democrat Deidre DeJear, who is running against Reynolds, said that Gov. Reynolds is “transphobic.”

DeJear is alluding to this line from the ad:

“Here in Iowa, we still know right from wrong, boys from girls and liberty from tyranny.”

The ad highlights the Hawkeye State’s shared principles of faith, freedom, hard work and the opportunity to succeed.

“Whether it’s protecting girls’ sports for girls, passing historic tax cuts or bucking most of the country by keeping kids in school and businesses open during the pandemic, Gov. Reynolds and Iowa Republicans lead with common sense,” a release from the campaign said.
