Democrat Rep. Emanuel Cleaver provided an interesting spin on just how much the Democrat Party really understands prayer.

Cleaver, who is a representative from Missouri, finished his prayer with:

“We ask it in the name of the monotheistic god, (no clue what he said here), and god known by many names by many different faiths. Amen and a woman.”

This comes on the heels of a move by congressional Democrats to remove “gendered” terms from the House Rules.

And, it appears Cleaver was actually serious when he said it.

Amen, of course, translates to “so be it” and has nothing to do with gender.
