Alabama Sen. Doug Jones was asked if abortion should be banned after five months.

Jones responded with laughter.

“Should abortion, should abortion be banned…As I said, what a stupid (questions),” Jones responded.

As concerning as it is, Jones is sticking to his campaign promise. MSNBC’s Chuck Todd asked Jones if he would be in favor of legislation that banned abortion after 20 weeks.

“I’m not in favor of anything that is going to infringe on a woman’s right and her freedom to choose,” he said.
