The Texas Department of Public Safety says two migrants were killed and dozens of others were apprehended in car chases and stash houses over the last two weeks.

On Nov. 26, in La Hoya, Texas, a car chase with DPS resulted in two migrants losing their lives and 11 injured.

On Nov. 30, 53 migrants were found at a stash house in Webb County.

On Dec. 1, a human smuggler was involved in a car chase with a Texas State Trooper
