On Sunday, Americans saw a new 9-11 talking point by Democrats and the mainstream media — compare the terrorist attacks of 9-11, which resulted in the deaths of thousands, to the Jan. 6 protest at the United States Capitol.
Chuck Todd said on the “Meet the Press…”
“Today is Sept. 11. It was 21 years ago that we were attacked by foreign terrorists. Not quite 20 years after 9-11, the Capitol came under attack from domestic terrorists.”
That talking point was the first portion of his interview with Vice President Kamala Harris.
In Iowa, it was the Hardin County Democrats making the comparison:
I was in D.C. on Jan. 6, 2021. I was at the Capitol. I was not in New York City on 9-11, but I remember the events of that day vividly.
There is no logical comparison that can be made between the two events.
