Matthew Bruce, the organizer of the Des Moines Black Lives Matter group, was arrested again this week for his role in a scuffle at the Iowa Capitol on Thursday. Bruce was charged with two counts of assault causing injury on peace officers/others, interference with official acts resulting in bodily injury and disorderly conduct.

It was just eight days after Bruce as arrested and charged with first degree criminal mischief. Many media outlets reported that he “allegedly” vandalized a police vehicle during a protest in June outside of a Des Moines Hy-Vee.
