Harriet Johnson Reelitz is a Des Moines Public School substitute teacher, according to her Facebook page.

And, it was on Facebook where Reelitz provided a three-word comment during Gov. Kim Reynolds’ press conference on Friday that detailed her return-to-school thoughts.

During the press conference, Reynolds had administrators from Van Meter and Des Moines Christian speak.

Reelitz, who presumably fills in for classrooms that include white males, simply said:

Reelitz is active on Facebook, promoting liberal ideology. In a post earlier this week, she said “we’re not all in this together. We’ve never been in this together. Some of us are in this and some of us are in the Hampton’s.”

She’s criticized the justice system:

Perhaps one of the more intriguing posts is a share of an idea from Ryan Vizzions, considering Reelitz is a teacher.

“Since schools are closed due to a pandemic, maybe now is a good time for academia to correct all the US history books they used to lie to us growing up.”
