Representative Scott DesJarlais (TN-04) released the following statement after it was announced that Immigration and Customs Enforcement plans to release illegal migrant detainees into the state of Tennessee to await court proceedings.
“President Biden’s plan to release illegal migrants into our state is unconscionable. The good people of Tennessee’s Fourth Congressional District will be put at risk for their safety and inevitability suffer economic repercussions.
“The White House is proving that every state is a border state yet again. I am outraged and will fight alongside our congressional delegation to reverse this impending disaster,” said Congressman Scott DesJarlais.
