Walt Disney Company issued the following statement regarding Gov. Ron DeSantis signing a bill that prohibits schools from teaching sexual orientation and gender identity to students K-3rd grade.

“Florida’s HB 1557, also known as the ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill, should never have passed and should never have been signed into law. Our goal as a company is for this law to be repealed by the legislature or struck down in the courts, and we remain committed to support the national and state organizations working to achieve that. We are dedicated to standing up for the rights and safety of LGBTQ+ members of the Disney family, as well as the LGBTQ+ community in Florida and across the country.”

  1. Walt Disney is spinning in his grave over the decimation of his family friendly media empire. Even before ABC got involved, it was becoming a sewer.

  2. What about the rights of 93% Americansnon-LGBQT students’ right to an education that does not promote immoral values?
