Another Des Moines Public School teacher reported administrative level folks supervising mask-wearing among staff.

A year ago, teachers were allowed to take their masks down if there were not kids with them and they were more than six feet apart. But that isn’t happening this time around.

Staff is being threatened with being sent home or written up for not following the mask mandate.

We will continue providing updates from sources within the district.
