White House COVID-19 advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci returned to MSNBC on Monday, saying requiring vaccination to fly domestic in America is “reasonable to consider.” Fauci was asked if requirements such as the proof of vaccination or negative COVID test requirement for international travelers should be expanded.
Fauci admitted that when vaccination becomes a requirement, it is “another incentive” to get more people vaccinated.
“If you want to do that with domestic flights, I think that’s something that seriously should be considered,” he said.
President Joe Biden told ABC recently vaccine requirements for domestic air travel have been considered, but the recommendation he has received is that it is not necessary.
