The Drake Law Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee is hosting a panel discussion on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 4:30 p.m. focused on what needs to be known about positively interacting with the LGBTQ+ community.

The panel, called “More than Pronouns,” will be held at Cartwright Hall in Room 203 and include Tyler Coe and Breanna Young.

Topics to be discussed include:

*Sexual orientation versus gender identity and definitions of each
*Important terms to know
*When and how to share pronouns
*Gender expression
*Common legal issues (ex. powers of attorney, legal name changes, and more)
*How to become more LGBTQ+ inclusive today

The presentation is approved for one hour of Iowa Continuing Legal Education.
