***Rumors are swirling Iowa about polling location closures and changes. We’ve contacted the county auditors in Iowa to find out what is actually happening in their county.***

Hardin County Auditor Jessica Lara said her county will have all eight precincts open on election day. She did have to notify one precinct that its location changed, but that was more than two weeks ago and they were notified by postcard.

The courthouse is closed to the general public due to COVID and cannot accommodate the amount of in-person voters Hardin County anticipates.

Hardin County has enough poll workers to administer the election, as long as none get sick between now and Tuesday, Lara said.

Voters can find their polling place at this website.

Iowans can sign up to be poll workers here.
