It is a crazy reality. But it is reality nonetheless.

It is now a “partisan” issue to say that women’s sports are intended solely for biological women. Or, another way of saying it, actual women.

All 150 Iowa legislators had the opportunity to vote in defense of women. And every Democrat decided to vote against them. Every Iowa Democrat in the legislature who cast a vote put up a vote saying biological boys should be allowed to compete in girls’ sports.

That is crazy. And again, it is reality.

Why are Democrats waging this war against actual women? All in an attempt to appease the radical LGBTQ agenda.

Holding such a position that biological boys should be allowed to play female sports just 20 years ago likely would have disqualified someone from public office — if not had them on a list for someone in need of a mental evaluation.

Today it qualifies them to run for office in the Democrat Party.

That is nuts. It’s unhealthy. It’s disturbing.

But it’s true.

It’s anti-woman. It’s anti-science. It’s anti-sanity.

I am thankful there was enough courage within the Republicans to tackle this issue and address the trans-sanity. But this one bill isn’t enough. And the press will have to continue in order to end the trans-sanity.

Those around us confused about their sexuality and gender don’t need affirmation, they need help. And we need to help those who are genuinely struggling through this confusion need us to walk beside them.

But those who are demanding redefining the family and gender and sexuality and — well, everything — are wicked, dangerous people.

To quote State Sen. Jeff Taylor — trans women are not women, they are men. Trans men are not men, they are women.

Pretending otherwise is extremely hateful.
