The FAMiLY Leader sent out an action alert on Friday letting people know Senators Chuck Grassley and Joni Ernst need to hear from them immediately.
Earlier in the week, the United States House of Representatives passed H.R. 8404, a bill that would repeal the Defense of Marriage Act and redefine marriage across America as “anything and everything” states like California and New York can create.
“What’s more, this federal action could threaten the tax status of any church or ministry that holds to the biblical definition of marriage between one woman and one man,” the alert said. “This dangerous bill now heads to the U.S. Senate, where it could pass at any moment. Please contact your senators, Sen. Chuck Grassley and Sen. Joni Ernst, and tell them to resist this federal overreach and take a stand for marriage today!”
