Today is election day. The Iowa Standard is sharing some segments of homilies that were sent out by Catholic Vote.

Joe Biden, the Democrat nominee for President, claims to be Catholic.

Here is a portion of a homily from Father David Miller:

“I’m never a big fan of talking about politics, I think most of you know that. But it’s appropriate and inevitably I have to do it, especially with the upcoming election. So I want to speak to you about Catholic Joe Biden.

“For his entire political career, he has been a hypocrite, saying one thing and doing another…

“Has said, ‘I’m personally Catholic. I personally believe in the Church and her teachings.’ Like ‘I personally can make the oath of fidelity,’ right? The profession of faith. ‘But I can’t act on it, because I’m a politician, so I have to support abortion. I have to condone evil in my actions.’

“Trump clearly is not Catholic. But I can tell you this, politically, he is more Catholic than Biden.”
