A new Rasmussen Reports national phone and online survey shows less than half of Americans have a favorable opinion of Dr. Anthony Fauci.
Forty-four percent of American adults said they have a favorable impression of Fauci, including 27 percent who said they view him very favorably. Forty-two percent view Fauci unfavorably, including 29 percent who said they view him very unfavorably.
In May, 54 percent of voters expressed a favorable impression of Fauci.
Fauci’s support is overwhelmingly comprised of Democrats. Seventy-two percent of Democrats have a favorable view of him while just 32 percent of unaffiliated voters and 23 percent of Republicans agree.
