Today, U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) released the following statement after he voted against the Democrats’ so-called Inflation Reduction Act:

“President Biden and Democrats in Congress have once again doubled down on their wasteful tax-and-spend agenda that has created the worst inflation crisis in more than forty years and sent gas prices soaring. Their Inflation Expansion Act will throw more gasoline on the inflation fire, raise taxes on hardworking families, and send an army of 87,000 IRS agents after American families and small businesses to fund their socialist agenda. This radical bill will also supercharge the Democrats’ Green New Deal agenda without making our country energy independent again.

As a strong fiscal conservative, I cannot support legislation that will destroy our economy, harm small businesses, balloon our $30 trillion debt, and leave future generations with the tab. Our families, farmers, and small businesses cannot afford more spending, more taxes, and unchecked liberal control in our nation’s capital.”

  1. What a joke. He and Hinson both voted for billions more for the crooks and neo-nazis in Ukraine and seem to be fine with sending more US troops to eastern Europe. This is insane. Protect the US borders. Ukraine is a corrupt oligarchy and has nothing to do with US interests. I think their vote has more to do with campaign contributions from defense contractors than with any concern for the Ukrainian people, who are suffering from the prolonging of this conflict by the west.
