Former Congresswoman Abby Finkenauer is attempting to win the Democrat nomination for U.S. Senate in Iowa. And, as she has in the past, she is cozying up to the pro-abortion bloc of the state.

Finkenauer was quick to criticize the new pro-life law in Texas, which she called the most restrictive abortion ban in the U.S. What is interesting is how Finkenauer describes a law that literally stops unborn babies from being killed.

“It’s appalling, dangerous and irresponsible.”

That’s how Finkenauer described the law and efforts to stop the killing of innocent unborn babies.

Finkenauer is building her campaign around the idea of today’s voters being OK with the killing of tomorrow’s voters.

It’s blunt and it’s harsh, but it is also the truth.

I always wonder what it must be like for children of politicians to read what these pro-abortion politicians say about the practice of the intentional ending of human life.

Is it something a son or daughter would be proud of? To hear their mom of all people vow to defend a woman’s “right” to kill an unborn child rather than give it life.

How must it sound?

Appalling.

Dangerous.

Irresponsible.
