The Iowa Standard joined Sen. Chuck Grassley’s Capitol Hill Report on Monday. Sen. Grassley talked about the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine:

“The residents of 50 states need to be patient because the supply is very limited. And I know this is a frustrating situation for them, but people ought to think of at least two things that limit everybody that wants a vaccine yesterday of the improbability of getting it because the manufacturers of the vaccine – two that have been approved in the United States – are working 24/7, 365 to manufacture it. And, you know, assembly lines only go so fast. And then the second limiting factor is that you don’t have enough qualified people to stick the needle in your arm. And so what I’m advocating for Iowans, but it’d be a good thing for every state, is for everybody that is in a position to put a needle – every organization or corporation that is in position to put a needle in your arm – when somebody calls up and wants to know when they’re going to get their shot, say ‘we’re putting you on a list and when your name comes up we’ll call you.’ Right now people don’t get any certainty. What they need to know is they’re on a list and that list is going to be taken in the order it is received according to the priorities set by the CDC. And then everybody is going to be taken care of. But Gov. Reynolds is working on that just exactly right now to get that done.”

The Iowa Standard followed up with a question about what protections are in place for Americans who do not want the vaccine when it comes to traveling. The Biden Administration has discussed requiring COVID tests in order to fly domestically and others have mentioned requiring vaccination to fly.

“Well, I don’t know if that will keep people from traveling or not. I suppose if that was a requirement and you wanted to travel by airplane or I suppose it could apply to trains as well, you might not be able to travel the way you’d want to travel. You’d have to find other ways of traveling, which obviously maybe by car. But I don’t see the federal government forcing people to get vaccinated.”

At some point, Grassley either has to get tired of misreading the Biden administration and Demonrats in general. Or he doesn’t care, preferring to vote in lockstep with his DC friends at our expense.

And it’s obvious that he has no understanding of, nor love for, our Constitution. That “antiquated document written by a bunch of old white men” which he swore to uphold, yet ignores daily. But he does love lobbyists and their 30 pieces of silver.

So what if we have a red wave this November. If we send him and the 3 RINOs back to DC, they will continue to carry on the Great Reset, in the name of bipartisanship. Like that traitor Obama, they think we’re too stupid to know what’s best for us. And instead of the democrats destroying what’s left of our rights and liberties, it will be done under the GOP banner.
