Rasmussen Reports released a new national phone and online survey from last week that shows 38 percent of likely U.S. voters believe the country is heading in the right direction.

While this number is higher than it was a year ago (35 percent), it is down four points from the previous week. In addition, 55 percent believe the nation is headed down the wrong track — up three points from the previous week.
