U.S. Congresswoman Debbie Lesko (AZ-08) sent a letter to U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona requesting information regarding the development of the Department of Education’s Office of Safe and Supportive Schools training that will promote the far-left’s gender ideology.
“The Biden Administration will stop at nothing to impose the gender ideology of the radical left in our nation’s schools,” said Congresswoman Lesko. “As the founder of the Protect Kids Caucus, I am requesting answers from the Department of Education to ensure that schools are not forced to provide this training or promote gender ideology to young students without parental notice and consent.”
The Biden Administration announced that the Office of Safe and Supportive Schools will offer new training for schools with experts and school leaders to discuss challenges transgender and nonbinary students face in schools and how to support these students. This training is part of a larger initiative from the Biden Administration to advance gender ideology.
Lesko was joined by Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC-05) in sending this letter.
