Gun control advocates have expressed some strange reactions to the swift ending of a mass shooting attempt in Indiana. A Good Samaritan ended the shooting less than two minutes after it started and saved many more lives.

Yet a woman called Shannon Watts, who founded Moms Demand Action, tweeted the following before deleting it:

“I don’t know who needs to hear this, but when a 22-year-old illegally brings a loaded gun into a mall and kills a mass shooter armed with an AR-15 after he already killed three people and wounded others is not a ringing endorsement of our implementation of the Second Amendment.”

The Hardin County Democrats shared the Watts post not realizing she had deleted it hours before.

It is unclear if Watts would have preferred the mass shooting to continue.

The mall had a policy against weapons, but thankfully the Good Samaritan was carrying a concealed weapon.

We should all be thankful for that.

  1. Unless Indiana or the city where the mall is has a different law, it is not illegal to carry in a mall. It is only mall policy. If you are found to be armed, they can ask you to leave, but no crime has been committed. The anti-gun nuts want you to believe that mall or store policy is law. These laws only apply to schools, government buildings, and (I think) churches.
