It is important to consider the logical conclusion of social movements. Regardless of how “justified” they may seem, it is imperative to think about the end goal for groups like Black Lives Matter.

With statutes falling, photographs being removed and history being erased, can we just be honest and fast forward to the part where the radical Left demands we rewrite the Declaration of Independence and United States Constitution?

You know it’s eventually going to go there.

Well, we know that one political party has been aiming to go there for quite some time.

But now they have some much needed fuel for that fire. If we’re going to go back and revisit the morals of people who lived in our country hundreds of years ago, judging them by today’s standards, then what conclusion will we be expected to draw other than they were people who should have very little, if any, influence on the way our country operates?

See, it doesn’t matter how incredibly forward-thinking our founders and framers were, all that will be relevant is the fact some of them owned slaves.

Nobody is going to claim the founders and framers of our country were perfect. But what they managed to lay the foundation for is the greatest country on the face of the Earth.

And it is a country that other countries have undoubtedly attempted to emulate.

But here we are in 2020. The only significant history of our country the Left thinks matters is the history of slavery. Nevermind the fact that slavery was by no means unique to America. And that slaves had to be sold and traded by someone in some other country.

If it is true that historical figures in America are no longer worthy of honor and recognition, statutes and paintings — then are they really worthy of being able to influence how our nation functions?

For years there has been a concentrated effort on shredding the Constitution. If this anti-American, anti-history, “Black Lives Matter” movement continues to grow, it’s only a matter of time until this is the vehicle used to rewrite our nation’s founding documents.
