From the Trump campaign:
During her scripted campaign speech yesterday, Comrade Kamala said “we must lower the cost of living.” What she didn’t mention? We need to lower the cost of living because Comrade Kamala’s policies increased the cost of living.
In what has turned into a weird talking point for Comrade Kamala politically speaking, even she admits that prices have risen on her watch. Here are just a few examples from the last month:
- “Is the price of groceries still too high? Yes.”
- “Prices are still high.”
- “Prices are too high”
- “Prices for everyday things like groceries are still too high.”
Indeed, prices have risen by 20.3 percent since Kamala took office, with groceries prices up 21.5 percent, rent costs up 22.5 percent, and electricity prices up 30.7 percent since Harris and Biden took office.
Instead of “turn[ing] the page,” however, Comrade Kamala has stood by her tie-breaking vote that delivered price increases and tax hikes. Reminder, even liberal economists blame her spending for inflation:
- Former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers: “Set off inflationary pressures of a kind we have not seen in a generation.”
- Former Obama economic advisor Steven Rattner: “The original sin” was passing the $1.9 trillion, which has “contributed materially to today’s inflation levels.”
- Former Obama economist Jason Furman: Biden’s spending is “too big … don’t know any economist” who supported that much.
- Biden’s Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen: Biden’s $1.9 trillion stimulus was one of the “factors that are involved in inflation.”
Kamala Harris thinks “Bidenomics is working.” That’s because Bidenomics is Kamalanomics – she made it happen. It’s not “working,” and in November, Americans will vote to Make America Wealthy Again by electing President Trump.
